Choosing a photographer to capture your new baby in their first few weeks of life is a big deal. You want to hire someone who not only can take beautiful photos, but who is also patient, kind, and will make the safety and comfort of your baby their top priority.
I have photographed over 200 newborns in the past six years and have spent all of that time learning, practicing, taking workshops, and working towards perfecting the art of newborn photography so that I can provide my clients with an amazing experience. My clients come to me from all over Chicagoland, and they are welcomed to my beautiful studio in downtown St. Charles.
Scheduling your Baby's Session
Studio sessions take place when the baby is between 6 and 14 days old in order to ensure a sleepy baby that can be posed. Many parents ask how they go about scheduling a newborn session when they don't know exactly when their baby will arrive. When clients contact me to book a newborn session, we will plan a tentative session date approximately one week after the baby's due date. Since many babies arrive early or late, I just ask that you let me know within 48 hours after the baby comes to confirm or adjust your session date. I take on a limited number of newborn sessions each month so that I have the flexibility to accommodate babies who come on their time.
My St. Charles Studio
The studio is conveniently located just a couple blocks east of downtown St. Charles, right off of North Ave/Route 64. There is ample parking available and a comfy spot to sit and relax (or even lay down and take a nap) during your baby's session.
